Our Team
Our teachers are passionate, dedicated early childhood professionals who meet and exceed the qualifications required to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children.
Qualifications & Certifications
Most of our teachers hold degrees or certifications in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. All staff members meet the licensing requirements set by the state, which includes coursework in child development, safety, and health. They also maintain up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification, ensuring they are prepared to respond to emergencies.
Experience & Classroom Practices
Our team brings years of hands-on experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in classroom and care settings. We ensure positive behavior reinforcement and inclusive classroom practices. They are skilled in planning and delivering engaging, educational activities aligned with developmental milestones.
Imagination in Motion
Baby Room
6 weeks to 1 year oldOur teachers in the baby room build trust by tuning into infants' feelings and states, responding with warmth and understanding. We create a safe, loving environment where babies feel valued and secure. Their dedicated one-on-one care fosters strong social-emotional growth by calmly handling the unpredictability typical of infants — feeding cues, diaper changes, crying, and more.
They also adjust routines, activities, and schedules fluidly based on each baby's evolving needs, maintaining safe sleep practices, monitoring play areas, and adhering to hygiene best practices. They are trained in infant CPR/First Aid, early childhood development, and safety regulations, and provide regular updates on feeding, sleep, mood, and milestones — fostering parent confidence through simple, age-appropriate stimulation: songs, soft toys, and tummy time.
Hands-On Learning
Toddler Room
1 to 2 years oldToddlers are highly unpredictable — tantrums, mood shifts, testing limits. The teachers at Teddy Bear stay calm and persistent amid the ups and downs. They tune into emotional needs, affirm feelings, and foster self-regulation in young children. Through routine, they elaborate plans and activities that match energy levels, always improving based on children's interests.
Engaging toddlers requires imaginative, hands-on, playful lessons, storytelling, dramatic play, and effective verbal direction that helps toddlers understand expectations. Our teachers are constantly looking for developmental cues, shifting behavior, and environmental hazards, then adapt or intervene appropriately. Constant collaboration with parents and co-teachers enhances consistency and emotional support. Respecting diversity makes all toddlers feel valued.
Artistic Expression
Preschool Room
3 to 5 years oldAs early educators, we encourage energetic children with varying attention spans, helping them explore and learn at their own pace. A sense of humor keeps the atmosphere light and engaging. Preschool classrooms thrive on imaginative, sensory-rich activities. Our teachers design open-ended arts, storytelling, and exploratory play — and adapt plans on the fly based on kids' interests.
Structured routines and well-organized spaces give preschoolers security and reduce stress. Our teachers articulate clear learning goals and are prepared for routine transitions, tuning into each child's emotions, providing comfort, modeling self-regulation, and fostering inclusivity and respect — especially important as children navigate social and emotional development.
